TPO ROOFING

TPO Roofing is a single-ply roofing membrane made of synthetics and reinforcing material that can be used to cover flat roofs. It can be mechanically attached, or chemically adhered, creating a layer of protection on your commercial buildings.
The maker builds the membranes in film style, and they measure in widths of 10, 12, and 20 feet. Once formed, rolled, and gathered, the producer distributes the layers to the office that bought the materials for commercial roofing purposes.
Is one of the most popular roof models used in commercial offices since it has some of the greatest energy economies for single-ply membrane roofing.

There are different types to fit your budget and office needs, but the two most used are Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) and Ethylene Propylene Diene Terpolymer (EPDM).
They differ in their chemical makeup, how they are installed, and their energy efficiencies.
Other Types of TPO Roofing:
- Polyisocyanurate (Polyiso) – Is the most utilized insulation kind. It is more costly but pays off with a higher R-value rating.
- Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) – EPS is applied on the roof, wall, and floor for insulation. It can be employed for ground connection and does not hold water over time.
- Extruded Polystyrene (XPS) – Regularly determined by the blue, green, or pink color. XPS is similar to Polyiso and EPS in the range of price and performance and is semipermeable .
Advantages of TPO Roofing:
- Client Choice of Insulation
- Class A Fire-Rated
- Reflective or Retentive
